Care and Cleaning:
Always protect your jewellery from sharp blows, scratching, chemicals, sunlight and heat/cold. Wear jewellery for appropriate tasks; avoid wearing rings when cleaning, gardening or whilst participating in sport. Don't allow jewellery to come into contact with nail polish removers, perfume and hairspray. Never go swimming in your jewellery as chlorine can cause damage. This is especially true of pieces containing concrete.
Sterling silver and gold: Use a silver polishing cloth (available from any good grocery store) on polished surfaces. For jewellery with a brushed finish rub with fine steel wool very lightly in a circular motion.
Oxidized silver: The black colour of oxidized sterling silver is a special surface treatment. With time and wear, the colour of the oxidized sterling silver may scratch and lighten—this is a natural and organic occurrence. Cloths and chemicals may strip off the oxidized finish, do not attempt to clean oxidized silver jewellery with anything other than cold running water and avoid rubbing.
Concrete pieces-: Do not soak. Pieces containing concrete should be removed before showering and swimming. If you use any silver cleaning chemicals on the silver components take extra care not to let them come into contact with the concrete as they may cause the binding agent to breakdown.
All our pieces are designed to last using the highest quality materials, but sometimes life happens. Unless the damage is the result of a manufacturing fault, all repairs will be charged by the hour. Please let us know the extent of the damage and we will quote you on the work required. You will be responsible for any courier costs incurred.
